Sam & Rob || An Intimate and Steamy Couples Session

Connection.

It’s my jam. It reaches deep into my soul and LOVES to stir up my camera goblin.

Especially when the couple is as in sync as these two were. I knew it was going to be an amazing session when I caught Rob sneaking photos of Sam trying on all the outfits. It did NOT disappoint.

Listen, I know you want to see all the steamy, seggsy photos, but can I take a moment to talk about what goes into a couples session? How we not only work together to create the photos you’ve been dreaming about, but also to make sure we’re not crossing over any boundaries or tripping any triggers, even accidentally.

From the beginning, I make sure we are both clear on our boundaries in sessions like these. I let you lead the way, and tell me what you’re looking for, and then I respond with how far I’m comfortable photographing, as well as my hard nos.

These include:
bodily fluids (spit, blood, urine, mucus, and semen)
genitalia
full frontal nudity
intercourse

I do not shoot erotica, and if that’s what you’re after, awesome! I know a few local photographers who do shoot it, and I would be happy to refer you to them. After all, we don’t kink shame in our studio.

Once we all understand the assignment, then we book a date and I send out prep guides to both you and your partner (masculine or feminine or both depending on your preferred gender expression) so neither of you are underprepared. I’ll touch base and help you figure out what to wear, and remind you when to make those beauty appointments leading up to your session. I’ll even reach out to your partner one on one to calm any nerves they may be having.

The Day Of…

When the day comes, consider us your personal Hype Squad. We’re gonna gas all of you up during your ‘fashion show’, because you all need to know you’re hot as hell. You’ll get star treatment, coffee, snacks and a makeover! Then the posing.

This is the part that our couples tend to be the most nervous about, and with good reasoning. What’s the process, what all will I see? What am I going to ask you to do? Don’t worry, the posing is all implied, it only looks real. That’s the magic of what I do. Expression coaching and posing are my specialty. I mean, you’re probably going to get a little amped up, and who wouldn’t when you’re half naked in intimate positions with your partner, doing a whole lot of kissing? But don’t worry, I won’t make it awkward, and I even turn my back every so often so you can sneak in that extra kiss or two.

The Golden Rule
