Our Fab Over Forty project is seeking out women just like you, to show the world that our lights won't dim just because we've taken a few extra trips around the sun. We want to remind society that a woman's beauty and worth are not dependent on her age.

A Phone Consultation
Your photographer (Love or Rachel) will schedule a call with you and discuss all the details of your 40 Over 40 session. Including hair and makeup styling, what to wear, what to expect, how to prepare and anything else you could need to know before finalizing your session.

Digital Prep Guide
Once your session is finalized you will receive our Client Prep Guide in your inbox. This guide covers all the information we just gave you in our phone consultation, and even more. If you like to be prepared, this is the guide for you! There's even a special part on what to wear for your body type.
Professional Hair & Makeup Styling
The morning of your session, after we decide on your boudoir looks, you will get a professional siren makeover, as glam or natural as you prefer. In our pre-session questionnaire you fill out before your session, we ask you to share inspiration images and what look you would like, so that the day of your session our artist knows just what to do!
Full Use of Client Wardrobe
As soon as you walk in our door you're going to be catered to. That includes wardrobe. The first thing we'll do together is look through any looks you have brought with you. If you are unsure about any of your choices, didn't bring enough, or anything at all, then we'll raid the client wardrobe. We have over 600 femme pieces in sizes 6x - xs. There is something for everyone, even you. Don't worry about being overwhelmed, Love and Rachel pull looks from the client closet that they think would look best on you. We love your input though, so make sure to speak up!

Full Luxury Session
That's right, the full experience. You're with us from 9:00am - 3:30pm, so relax and enjoy the day. We'll spend about 90 minutes of that time taking images. Before we start, you'll get a studio tour to help you decide on your sets of choice. Remember, you get 3 looks, so that means you get to choose 3 sets!
Upgraded Studio Set
This is where the 40 Over 40 sessions differ from our traditional luxury sessions, you get to choose one of our bonus luxury studio sets for your session! You will be able to choose from Fine Art Nudes, Body Foil, the Steamy Shower, or the Warehouse set. You can decide the day of your session if you're not sure yet.
Expert Posing & Expression Coaching
Boudoir posing can be scary! Especially if you've never had a session before. Try not to get too nervous, Love will be guiding you the entire time. She will direct you through every pose, from your toes to your hair and will even coach your expression! We're going to make sure your photos look amazing - Just Like You!
Catered Lunch & Sneak Peek
Once we finish the photography portion of your day, you get to relax! We're not done in the studio just yet, but now all the pressure is off. We cater you a customized charcuterie box from a locally owned business (we always check for food restrictions first!). You can sit and zone out on your phone or read a book while you eat your lunch and Love quickly edits a few sneak peeks of your session. We'd hate to send you home questioning if you totally bombed your session. Once you see your STUNNING images, we schedule your Full Reveal & Ordering Appointment and then we walk you out.
Reveal & Ordering Appointment
The day of your Reveal & Ordering Appointment you'll come back to the studio to see your full gallery from your session day. You'll get to choose the image you'd like for your complimentary matted 5x7 silk print and have the opportunity to purchase more of your images if you wish. What you decide to purchase is up to you, but Rachel will guide you through the process so you don't get overwhelmed. We have lots of beautiful products to display your work.
* If you wish to purchase a collection from your 40 over 40 photo shoot, special collection pricing will be available and we'll credit your entire $250 retainer fee towards your final total. If you are interested in our pricing guide, make sure to indicate that in your application form.

The Annual Siren Ball is an amazing night of celebrating women, body diversity and empowering photography. It's a time to share memories, dance until your feet hurt, and partake of our delicious drinks and food!
All past clients of Grá Photography are invited, so you'll be able to mingle with other like-minded people. It's my favorite night of the year.

I'd Love to have a session but I don't have the confidence to book!
NEVER! Hair and Makeup are provided as part of the session fee. Natural may be your everyday look, but in the studio, makeup is Queen. If you're not used to wearing makeup, don't worry! Our hairstylist and makeup artists are all professionally trained, and know how to apply makeup without causing you to not look like "you". They work with your bone structure to find the best look for you. We don't 'one size fits all' here.
We have a 4600 sq ft beautiful, PRIVATE studio space located in Downtown Akron, Ohio. We do not travel. Our boudoir experience lasts from 9am - 3:30pm, so you have time to get home before the partner/kids if necessary.
So many of our clients come into the studio nervous, never thinking they'd have the confidence to have a session like this. You don't need to HAVE CONFIDENCE, that's what these sessions GIVE YOU. At the end of the day, after your experience, when you look at your sneak peek, you'll realize that the person you are deserves the be more confident.
Plus, we're your personal hype squad. We're here to remind you of the badass bish you are!
Um YES! This is one of my favorite parts of new client sessions. The first hour you are with us in the studio we play dress up. Our client closet has over 600 boudoir looks, from modest to XXX rated, sizes from XXS-6XL. There is guaranteed to be several items you LOVE.
