Artist Burn Out = Outdoor Boudoir Solution
Artist burn out. It’s a thing. And it happens often. You see, the art we create together in my studio is gorgeous. It’s stunning and a work of art. For sure. But, as any and all creatives know, if you aren’t changing up your medium (in this place, the studio) then you get burnt out, quick. To prevent that, I love to shoot special creative projects just for me. My vision, my wardrobe, and a new outdoor boudoir location.
I know, you’re asking: “But Love, where do you find the models, can I be one?” That’s simple. My Siren Squad. They have my back. It’s actually one of the perks of being a Siren. Every year, I put out the search, and ladies from near and far respond. This year’s Siren’s have gotten to participate in 2 shoots so far, with another 2-3 planned. These are a perk for helping me advertise, and keep an eye on the VIP group. So it’s a win/win.
This session was absolutely spur of the moment. I needed to break out of the studio, and remind myself I can shoot with uncontrollable light. So, a quick text along the lines of: “Hey, wanna come get naked for me?” was all it took. Allison, Rachel and Sabrina were my muses, and boy did they slay. Like for serious. I freaking love this location.
Is the location a little dirty? Well. Yes.
Was there glass everywhere? Also yes.
Did it exceed my expectations? Abso-fucking-lutely!
10/10 would recommend.
Totally worth stepping out of our comfort zone and hiking up to Cleveland for an outdoor boudoir session. What do you think?
Also, enjoy this unsolicited Dick Pic.
