Celebrating Pride in Akron

I’m a mother of 4 amazing kids, with two of them being LGBTQ+. You may have seen my viral gender reveal party we held for my amazing teenage son back in 2020. In short, I’m an ally surrounded by amazing friends and family who are part of the LGBTQ+ community. My employees are even rainbow babes too!

It’s probably no surprise that I love going to the Akron Pride Festival each year and celebrating with my loved ones. There is something so special about a community coming together, supporting each other, and of course having a blast. This was the first year that Gra had a booth at Pride, but you’d better believe we’re going to make it a yearly thing now! We kicked things off bright and early in the morning and were super busy the whole day. It was so much fun meeting so many of our social media followers and making new friends, plus a few past clients as well. Not to mention, we had an amazing session giveaway – shoutout to our winner, Dustin!

I pride myself on making my studio a safe place and do my best to be inclusive. My brand has worked with all genders and identities from cis-het men who love to play with gender expression to AMAB ladies who wanted to celebrate their femininity … not to mention some fire LGBTQ+ couples shoots. I love empowering all people and showing them the REAL baddies they are.
